Body Imaging Radiology is proud to be affiliated with the center of excellence in the Portland metropolitan area for breast imaging consulting, Pacific Breast Center.
For the women of the Pacific Northwest and their physicians, the Pacific Breast Center offers a patient-centered, team approach to the diagnosis and management of breast disease. PBC works closely with each woman's primary care provider to promote continuity of the services of radiologists, surgeons, oncologists and pathologists.
Dr. Bill Eklund, recruited to serve as PBCs Medical Director, is recognized nationally and internationally for his work in defining modern techniques that achieve high mammographic image quality. He is known throughout the nation for setting higher standards for breast imaging practices. He brings 34 years of experience, including establishment of the internationally recognized Susan G. Komen Breast Center, Peoria, Illinois, to his leadership role at PBC.
Each PBC radiologist contributes to the PBC goal of exceeding the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and has primary interest in breast imaging. All are respected for their experience, expertise and subspecialty skills.
